Interdepartmental operational headquarters of the state Commission on questions tekhnogenno-ecological safety and emergency situations in difficult weather conditions in Ukraine will monitor the operation of trains “intercity” in connection with their breakdowns on the road. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister – Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services Gennady Zubkov said after a meeting of the interagency operational headquarters in the state service for emergency situations, transfers “UKRINFORM”.
“This issue is on the agenda in the Ministry of Infrastructure, because “Ukrzaliznytsya”, which is the owner of the train should monitor these happenings,” he said.
“We had an issue that was raised during the conference calls to provide additional trains and the possibility of replacing the “IC” in other trains, but it’s the holidays, and because all measures”, – said Zubko.
“And with respect to IC, I think that now additionally the issue in the Protocol we write to simply monitor the operation of these trains,” he added, commenting on the failure of near Lviv trains “intercity” on the eve.
