Kateryna Bondarenko made it to the finals of the qualification in Sydney

Ukrainian tennis player Kateryna Bondarenko made it to the finals of qualifying at the WTA Premier event in Sydney.

In the match of the second round Bondarenko, seeded under the fifth number, beat Mirjana Lucic-Baroni from Croatia with a score of 3:6, 6:3, 6:3.

For a place in the main draw, Bondarenko will compete with Naomi Broady from the UK.
