German Pascal Wehrlein will become the pilot of world Cup racing in the class Formula-1 “Zauber” in January.
The team representatives held talks with the 22-year-old racer managed to reach an agreement on the contract. It is expected that officially about signing of the agreement will be announced after Finn Valtteri Bottas will be presented as the driver of “Mercedes”.
22-year-old Wehrlein debuted last year in Formula 1 as a combat pilot in the team, “manor”, for the season, scored one point and took 19 th place.
