Ukrainian military will raise surcharges – Poroshenko

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has instructed defense Minister Stepan Poltorak to raise surcharges to the Ukrainian military personnel which are on the first and second lines.

“Today, I instructed the defense Minister to raise co-pays that get military personnel on the front line, the line of contact, up to 6 thousand UAH, and the soldiers who are on the second line, up to 2.4 thousand UAH”, – said Poroshenko.

The President believes that we need to create financial and material incentives for servicemen.

Recall, Petro Poroshenko December 31, arrived in Mariupol and have been on the front lines. The head of state thanked all the soldiers and law enforcement officers for their service.
