President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko believes that after the Russian war against Ukraine can attack some other country. He stated during the solemn meeting devoted to the Day of honoring combatants in the territory of other States, reports 112.ua.
The President cited the history of the military conflict of Russia vs other countries, which shows that the country can not do without wars.
“A lot of talk about the war. One of the many cases applying an aggressive Moscow’s brutal use of force against neighboring peoples. Finland, the Baltic countries in 1944, Hungary in 1956, Czechoslovakia in 1968, Afghanistan in 1989, Georgia in 2008, and now Ukraine. And I’m sure that the dot is no reason. Unfortunately, history teaches us that it is only a comma,” – said Poroshenko.
The President reminded that in the Afghan war unleashed by Moscow, many Ukrainians died.
As reported, Poroshenko participated in the ceremony of laying flowers to the Memorial complex for Ukrainian citizens fallen in Afghanistan, in honor of the Day honoring the combatants in territories of other States. He noted that only through the Afghan war have been about 160 thousand Ukrainians, many of whom died.
