The Minister assured that the doctors are trying not to bring patients to connect to a ventilator
Given the record of the spread of coronavirus in Ukraine, the government is closely monitoring the situation in hospitals in the case of the second wave of the epidemic.
This was at the briefing said the head of the Ministry of health Maxim Stepanov.
According to the Minister, at the moment doctors are involved only 10% of the ventilators.
“If we are talking about hospitals in the first wave, the total amount of the ventilator that is installed there is about 2700. Now they are not very busy, that is, of this number, 170 of the ventilator are busy. Our doctors try to do everything in order not to bring the person to an artificial lung ventilation” he said.
Stepanov also assured that the state has provided the remedy for payment of drugs used in the treatment of COVID-19.
