Basically the bridges were built in the 60-70 years, said the head of the state Agency
Only 2% of the surveyed bridges in Ukraine are in perfect condition. This was stated in the State Agency of highways (“Ukravtodor”), which now plans to repair hundreds of bridges.
“The study sample included 35% from 16.2 thousand bridges and structures – that is, we don’t even have information about in what state they are in. We can say that only 2% of bridges in good condition”, – said the head of Ukravtodor Alexander Kubrakov.
As noted Kubrakov, mainly bridges were built in the 60-70 years (a total of approximately 8.7 million structures). All, according to him, Ukraine 16,155 artificial structures falling under the terminology of “bridges” in the state target program. Of them surveyed, only 35%, namely 5,631 structures.
