In Ukraine officially revealed the first hybrid car brand Kia model Niro. The compact crossover is built on a completely new brand platform, which will be further used for the creation of hybrid and electric vehicles, reports Auto.Today.
The power plant the machine consists of a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 105 HP and the electric motor, which together give 141 “horse.” The torque is transmitted to front wheels via a 6-speed robotic gearbox DCT with dual clutch.
Starts moving crossover using only the electric motor. During acceleration, both engines operate at the same time, and in the process braking energy back into the battery through the recovery system.
A minimum package includes 7 airbags, disc brakes all wheels, electronic stability control, anti-lock braking system, help system when driving uphill/downhill from the slope and observing the movement in the band.
Surcharge car can be equipped with system of automatic emergency braking AEB system, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control.
Soon the market will be Plug-In version of crossover with a battery of greater capacity which can be charged from an external source (from the grid).
