The bill on the reintegration of Donbass assumes that the fighting in the East of Ukraine will not be called ATO (antiterrorist operation) and “Operation on defence of Ukraine”. This was told in an interview to “Radio Svoboda”, the Deputy Minister on the issues of the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons of Ukraine Yury Grymchak.
So, answering the questions what term it is proposed to replace ATO, Hrymchak said: “the Operation of the defence of Ukraine”.
According to him, also avoids the term “war”.

“We can call it a war. In fact, then we declare war on the Russian Federation. We declare war and start to get what can offer the Russian VPK (military-industrial complex – ed.)”, – Grymchak told and added that Putin cannot thus give rise to a major war.
He stressed that Russia will then be able to apply not only tanks and artillery, and aircraft, missiles and many other things.
