Poland in the framework of diversification of supply sources, plans to start importing gas from Norway. “Naftogaz of Ukraine” expects this also to access Norwegian gas.
“The poles go into action. Norwegian gas, which is likely to enter Poland via the Baltic pipe, will help the poles, through diversification, to get a guarantee from the political pressure of the gas”, – the press-service of “Naftogaz”.
Thus, the poles will have an alternative provider that is independent from Russia.

Recall, Ukraine at the end of 2015 stopped buying gas from Russian “Gazprom”. For more than a year delivery are only for reverse routes through Poland, Slovakia and Romania.
