Today in some regions of Ukraine forecasters predict thunderstorms and squalls.
About the worsening weather in the West and centre of the country the press service of gschs with reference to Ukrgidromettsentr.
According to forecasters, June 7, in the Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi (in the daytime and in Zhitomir, Kiev, Vinnitsa) regions are expected thunderstorms. In some areas hail and squalls of 15-20 m / s.

In the Carpathian region places will be heavy rains.
“Due to expected heavy rains in the next few days on the rivers of the Transcarpathian region may increase water levels by 0.3-1.0 m At the location of the heavy rains might produce significant local runoff and the formation of small lahars. On smaller watercourses it is possible transient increase of water levels on 0,5 – 1,5 m,” the forecasters warned.
It is noted that on June 7 pools Xiang rivers, Dniester (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk region) are expected to rise water levels by 0.2 – 1.0 m above the levels with no negative effects.
