The introduction of the visa regime – is a belated decision, but it is still necessary to enter until the occupants are on Ukrainian soil. This was stated in the comment to the edition “GORDON” the adviser to the interior Minister Zoryan Shkiryak.
In his opinion, Ukraine has not progressed in this matter, perhaps because of the difficulty of the technical organization of the process.
“I personally, on the necessity of introducing a visa regime with Russia announced in the summer of 2014. For me this is the only correct position. Russia is the invader and aggressor. Therefore, the introduction of visas with Russia is a matter of national security and the protection of state interests of Ukraine. Especially after giving us a visa-free regime with the EU. Now we can say only one thing: this decision is overdue. But it should be taken, even if late. And I hope that in the near future the decision will be made. Why for three years we have not progressed in this matter? Perhaps there are things that require serious preparation. First of all, it is a technical organization of the process”, – said Shkiryak.
He noted that in the first place a visa regime with Russia to strengthen control over the movement at the border that will help to protect Ukraine from Russian agents.
“Today, the dirty boots of the Russian soldiers trample our Holy land. Every day at the hands of Russian terrorists killing innocent civilians and our soldiers are heroes. Russia illegally occupied our territory. What are the kinds of arguments in favor of visa-free Orgy with Russia? You need to understand that first and foremost, the introduction of visa regime to strengthen control over the movement at the border. It will help us at a higher level to protect its territory against the penetration of enemy agents. If you weigh all the pros and cons, the pros will obviously be more,” – said the source.
Also, the official believes that the introduction of a visa regime for Russia, the Russians can do the same against Ukraine.
“Any argument in favor of preserving the visa-free regime with Russia are criminal. You just need to understand that the Russian terrorists have killed more than 10 thousand Ukrainian citizens. Need any more reasons for the introduction of a visa regime with Russia? Yes, Russia will impose symmetrical visa regime with Ukraine. But believe us, any problems we will create. Our country will benefit from this,” said Shkiryak.

In turn, the Kremlin said that Russia has not yet made a decision on how to react in case of the introduction of Ukraine visas for Russians.
