President Petro Poroshenko during a press conference said that he had productive talks, as President of the United States and with other authorities.
“I’ve had some absolutely brilliant telephone conversations with President Donald trump. I had a very good meeting and telephone conversations with the Vice President of the Penny. The Minister on my behalf had a very thorough conversation with him during his visit to Washington. I had a very detailed conversation with the Secretary of state Tillerson. On my instructions, the Minister had repeated, quite effective talks with national security Advisor to the McMaster. We effectively cooperate with Congress.
In the near future to elect a special representative of the United States, which will be responsible for coordination with Ukraine. At the end of next week I will have many hours of talks in Berlin with German Chancellor to prepare the meeting in the framework of the Normandy format,” he said.
Earlier it was reported that trump and Poroshenko held a telephone conversation. The leaders discussed the strengthening of strategic partnership between Ukraine and the USA.
