The national police and the National guard will be hard to respond to anti-Ukrainian symbols and statements during public events on remembrance day in Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.
The Minister noted that this year, as always, various political forces will attempt to use the 9 may in order to remind myself in any way.
“I know about the plans of such provocations in the capital and several cities of the South-East of Ukraine. See the names and “ideas of the organizers.” Not the case of the Ministry of interior, its police and guards units to assess and even more to regulate political activities. However, in all the demonstrations and marches that are scheduled on this day, units of the National police and the national guard will be hard to respond to anti-Ukrainian symbols and statements”, – wrote Avakov on his page in Facebook.
The Minister assured that police across the country have received clear instructions and will not allow destabilization of the situation.
Earlier, police Kharkov warned that wearing the “St. George ribbons” on may 9 will hold.
