Today Ukraine is struggling with the unprecedented threats to security, law and order, stemming from domestic and external forces. This was stated by the Ambassador of the United States of America in Ukraine, Marie L. Yovanovitch, during a speech at the Centre for training units of the special police in the Kiev region.
“The US Embassy from the first day of the existence of Kovda (the Case quickly and sudden action) works closely with him and are proud that with our assistance created 15 regional divisions of the Cord throughout the territory of Ukraine”, – she said.
“Ukraine today is fighting with unprecedented threats to security, law and order, stemming from domestic and external forces. To overcome Ukraine these challenges and threats need motivated and dedicated professionals,” said Jovanovic.
Previously, Marie Yovanovitch stated that Washington will continue to support the reform and professionalization of the Ukrainian law enforcement system.
