South-Ukrainian NPP 19 Jan disabled the third unit from the power grid to determine the causes of deterioration in condenser vacuum turbine. This was reported by the press service of the NAEC “Energoatom”.
The company noted that the transient disconnection of the power unit of violations of conditions and limits of safe operation was not.
Thus, in the are 11 from 15 power units of four existing nuclear power plants in the country.
Also disabled:
- the unit 3 of Rivne NPP – 86 day major scheduled maintenance (until February 16);
- unit number 2 of South Ukrainian NPP – 56-day average planned repairs (to 23 Feb);
- unit number 1 of Rivne NPP – 27-day average planned repairs (until 6 February).
We will remind, earlier the third power unit it is southern-the Ukrainian nuclear power plant was disconnected from the network at the end of November. Then triggered the emergency protection of the reactor.
