Customs authorities of the countries-members of Eurasian economic community must in the near future to finalize the agreement on the implementation of the compulsory registration of shipping documents in electronic form, which will allow to solve problematic issues of transit of goods from third countries, including Ukraine, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Another element of strengthening the Eurasian economic community is the pairing of the information systems of our government agencies, primarily customs services, with the aim of establishing a mechanism to monitor the movement of goods throughout the territory of the Union. This would help liberalize and improve solutions to such problematic issues for the transit of goods from third countries, including Ukraine. We discussed this repeatedly discussed and came to the conclusion that the introduction of this electronic system for tracking the movement of goods would help us and our partners that are outside the Union”, – said Putin, speaking Friday at the Bishkek summit of the EurAsEC.
“Effective control is impossible without the introduction of the compulsory registration of shipping documents in electronic form. It is an advanced world practice. Taking into account the technical characteristics of similar projects is necessary as soon as possible to finalize the relevant agreement”, – said the President of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, first Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv said that direct losses of Ukraine imposed by Russia in 2016, grocery, shopping and transit embargo on Ukrainian exports amount to about 0.4 billion dollars.
Recall, 15 September 2016-Ukraine has started the procedure of appeal against the decision of the RF government on introduction of embargo on the transit of Ukrainian goods to the Russian territory in direction of third countries.
