Free medicines under the program of the Cabinet have pharmacies in most regions of Ukraine. Medications available to patients with cardiovascular diseases, bronchial asthma and diabetes mellitus type II. However, medication is not given in the Nikolaev and Odessa region. this was stated by the acting Minister of health Suprun in comments to television channel “112 Ukraine”.
In these areas not all administrations have allocated funds from the state budget allocated to local communities, and the pharmacy did not purchase drugs.
“The Nikolaev and Odessa region. Now again, not here. At the level of regional administrations have not yet pulled those finances to their communities, but in most other areas the programme is working. Now we have joined about 2 thousand pharmacies. It’s good enough, but we would like to have more,” said Suprun.
We will remind, since April 1, the Ministry of health has launched a reimbursement. Compensation of the cost of drugs earned for the three groups of patients. The program includes asthmatics, diabetics are second class and suffering from cardiovascular disease. The state covers drugs from the registry office.
