Bakanov: SBU prevented three terrorist attacks in Ukraine

Ivan Bakanov told about the achievements of the security services in combating terrorism

While the security Service of Ukraine is trying to reform itselffor the first half of 2020, progress has been made in the protection of the state prevented three terrorist attacks and arrested several people involved in it.

This was announced by the head of intelligence Ivan Bakanov, the press service of the SBU.

According to him, detained four people who are involved in preparing for terrorist attacks.

“Fight not with the consequences of crime, and to counteract their Commission is an important priority of our work. Every Ukrainian should be confident that he and his family are safe no matter what faith, political affiliation, or what his social status,” – said Bakanov.

He also noted that within six months, the courts issued 53 sentence – encroachment on territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, 28 – for terrorist activities. In addition, 254 foreigners implicated in terrorism and the activities of extremist religious organizations banned entry in Ukraine.
