The Minister Petrashko explained that you need to create Greceanii stock
The government of Ukraine, which had earlier proposed to create a strategic food stocks in the country, intends to buy buckwheat in reserve. This was stated by the Minister of economic development, trade and agriculture Igor Petrashko.
“This year buckwheat was sown on 10 ha and more – 74 thousand hectares. However, you need to begin purchasing in the reserve. While we work on corporate governance. While there are issues with the UKRAINE (State food and grain Corporation of Ukraine), Agrarian Fund,” said Petrashko in an interview to “Interfax-Ukraine”.
While Petrashko said that the Ministry work out the ways how to do it transparently, “to avoid abuse, as it was in past periods”.
