Zelensky has congratulated Ukrainians on the anniversary of the liberation of Slavyansk

The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal congratulated Ukrainians on the sixth anniversary of the liberation of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk in Donetsk oblast from Pro-Russian occupiers.

In particular, the head of state, being with working visit in Odessa, congratulated the sailors on the Day of naval forces and recalled the anniversary of the events in the Donbas.

“Today we have a double celebration. After all, in addition to the Day of the Navy, we are celebrating the sixth anniversary of the liberation of Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. Six years ago, across the country we have helped our army and with alarm in heart and prayer in the shower waited for news from the East. We bow to anyone who returned the Slavyansk and Kramatorsk in Ukraine,” Zelensky said, adding that Ukraine will return Ukrainians from captivity, and all their territory.

At the celebrations for the day of the Navy also organized a teleconference from Kramatorsk, during which Ukrainians and congratulated the head of the Cabinet.

“Today we feel the unity of Ukraine, and this teleconference demonstrates the unity of the country – from Odessa to Kramatorsk, every day – from Uzhgorod to Donetsk and Lugansk. Ukraine – single, indivisible, independent and in the near future will be peaceful,” said Smigel.
