How the police have treated George Floyd, awful. All four officers involved in the incident with Floyd dismissed, and to investigate joined the FBI. Trump today pledged to expedite the investigation. The mayor urged the district attorney to condemn a policeman who held the head of Floyd’s knee while he was out of breath. What else can you do at this stage?
Tonight on local TV in Minneapolis, a local black activist begged the protesters to stop the violence and focus on justice. He’s right. Riots, looting and attacks on police cars to bring the murderers of George Floyd to justice will fail. What violence will achieve, so it is only the re-election of Donald trump.
