The Prime Minister is confident that the resulting document will be signed
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal said in an interview to Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” about the readiness of the Memorandum with investors in renewable energy, with the exception of one detail, writes “ExPro”.
“The Memorandum is ready. There are calculations of all the possible scenarios. We agreed on almost everything except one part, which is still debated. And we will be approaching the finish line,” said Smigel.
However, he did not specify the essence of the discussion question, assuming that it will take some more time for his practicing, but expressed confidence that the document will be signed.
“Not the fact that he (finish – ed.) will be quick, but we know and see what they want. Representatives of the green energy too know what they are willing to agree, so a compromise will be found,” – said the head of government.
According to him, the government and industry, representing almost 90% of the market six months, now decide the difficult question of renegotiation of support for renewable energy.
