Ukraine and the international monetary Fund (IMF) has now agreed on an 18-month stand-by program is a three-year EFF. The program eff EFF block – to obtaining Kiev to begin in the summer of 2021. This was stated by representative of Ukraine to the IMF Vladyslav Rashkovan.

He explained that the lines stand-by is a shorter, more focused on anti-crisis measures program, which is easier to receive funds. And preparation to receive new EFF program in Ukraine will begin after the completion of the stand-by program.

“In the summer of 2021 <…> Ukraine will start preparing to receive new eff EFF to get it at the end of the SBA. And then during this time, Ukraine will receive not only more than $ 10 billion. aid from international financial organizations in 2020, but will revert to the higher amount of new financing from the IMF – if Ukraine these funds will be needed,” Rashkovan wrote on his page in Facebook.

He also said that Ukraine and the IMF is still under negotiation and final decisions on the programme yet.

Recall website “Today” reported that Ukraine expected in 2020, two tranches from the IMF 1.75 billion dollars and is discussing a further increase in the amount of tranches, however, the fight against the coronavirus negotiations are not conducted.
