President Petro Poroshenko instructed to sue Russia because of the environmental damage from the construction of the Kerch bridge. This was reported by press Secretary of Ukrainian President Svyatoslav Tsigalko.
“The President instructed to sue Russia because of the environmental damage from the construction of the Kerch bridge,” he wrote.

Earlier the Minister for foreign trade and development of Netherlands Lilianne Ploumen reported that in the Netherlands suspected two Dutch companies in the illegal participation in the construction of the bridge Kerch the Russians in occupied Crimea.
She recalled that the authorities adhere to the position of non-recognition of the annexation of the Crimea, so even if the Dutch company did not violate the law, they are expected to responsible business with the Russians because of the sanctions regime.
So, Dutch media report on the audit of the two companies on the legality of the participation in the construction of the bridge. It is noted that Dutch company Dematec Equipment has built one of the machines for the construction of the bridge. Other company – Bijlard Hydrauliek – put the “most important part” for this technique.
Director, Dematec Equipment van den Heuvel said that the company does not violate the EU imposed the sanctions because the construction occurred on the territory of Russia.
