The Ukrainian government is now working on the creation of innovative tools for monitoring the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union “Heartbeat of the Agreement.” This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the meeting with the Minister of foreign Affairs of Estonia Sven Mixer.
Groysman noted that Ukraine is interested in strengthening cooperation with Estonia, who chairs the EU Council in the second half of this year. It is noted that Kiev is counting on the support of Tallinn on the question of further economic integration of Ukraine with the EU.
The Prime Minister said that Ukraine’s integration into common political and economic space with the European Union is a strategic goal of the government.
“And currently is working on creating innovative tools for monitoring the implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU – the so-called “Heartbeat of the Agreement,” the statement said.

During a meeting with the foreign Minister of Estonia, the Ukrainian Prime Minister thanked the Estonian government for its decisive support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, support the policy of sanctions against the aggressor, as well as the provision of Ukraine humanitarian, financial and technical assistance.
It is also noted that Kiev will appreciate the common position to block hazardous energy projects, in particular for the construction of the pipeline “Nord stream 2”.
“We are interested in learning from the experience of Estonia in the field of reforms, namely political, legal, economic, financial, customs and tax spheres and in the field of e-governance. We also speak about the interest in joint investment projects”, – said Groisman.
We will remind, earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko discussed with the foreign Minister of Estonia ways of realization of the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbas.
