Uzbekistan twice devalued the national currency

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan from September 5 has set the official exchange rate of the dollar in the amount of 8.1 thousand soums per dollar, according to the website of the regulator.

Last week, the price of one dollar, according to the Bank, was 4210,35 scrip.

The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev over the weekend signed a decree, according to which legal entities and individuals in Uzbekistan from September 5 will be able to freely carry out operations on purchase and sale of currency at the market rate.

It was reported earlier that the hryvnia has hit the TOP 3 most stable currencies of the CIS.
