DTEK and the football club Shakhtar organised a joint competition of “Let’s play!” for children from all over Ukraine. The young participants will not only compete for the main prize – a games console, but each week to win prizes from FC Shakhtar. All you need to do is remove the phone videos about how you juggle the ball and upload it to the website.
Cooperation with DTEK, FC Shakhtar, in the development of children’s sports in Ukraine has been going on for a year in the form of the project “Let’s play!”. This partnership is already yielding its first positive results. At the invitation of DTEK football pitches “Let’s play!” is open in Kurakhovo, Dobropolye and Burshtyn. But in General, the project is developing in seven cities of Ukraine. Children are actively involved and participate in football competitions and the parents are happy that classes are absolutely free.
“DTEK for the development of the towns where our enterprises operate is more than a responsibility. It is, above all, people. In the project “Let’s play!” is a small but very promising Ukrainians that need to invest their attention, knowledge, care. Together with FC “Shakhtar” we give the kids a chance to realize their potential and direct energy in the right direction. Because children’s soccer is more than just about sports and physical development. It is the formation of extracts, determination, teamwork. The joint project with FC Shakhtar “Let’s play!” – ability to develop children’s football in the regions of Ukraine and to attract children to sports and healthy lifestyle”, – said acting General Director of DTEK Energy Dmytro Sakharuk.
One of the motivators of the project will be an online competition. For participation it is necessary to remove a short (up to 20 sec.) video soccer tricks, cool beats, etc., and upload to the website. All downloaded videos will participate in the Grand prize drawing – game consoles. Also, every week will be raffled intermediate gifts: balls, scarves and clubs, Shakhtar. Participant of the contest can be a child under the age of 16 years.
To encourage children to participate in the contest will be the true legends of Ukrainian football. Video clip with them can already be seen on the website. In addition, they are frequent guests of the training project “Let’s play!”.
“We brought a player of the national team of Ukraine Andriy Pyatov, they were surprised, training stopped, Andrew talked with the children, answered questions and then each child had the opportunity to take a penalty kick to the goalkeeper and the goalkeeper of the national team of Ukraine”, – said the head of the Department of marketing and communications of FC “Shakhtar” Yuriy Sviridov.
Geography of the project is gradually expanding. DTEK engages in a new city and new young participants. It is likely that among the inmates of “Let’s play!” will be the new Andriy Pyatov or Taras Stepanenko. After all, a ticket to the Academy here can win every. At competitions there are football scouts, FC Shakhtar Donetsk, who select young talents for free training.
