NBU toughens requirements for banks relying

The national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has developed a draft of amendments that will change the register of audit firms entitled to audit banks. About it reports a press-service of the NBU.

The project envisages stricter requirements for auditing firm that is paid by the national Bank in the registry, and its employees involved in the audit of the Bank. NBU also wants to streamline the maintenance of the registry.

Recall that in 2016 in Ukraine started a new Supervisory body — Gosudarstva service. Rosaudit replaced the state financial inspection (formerly the control and auditing Department).
