Alternative medicine, like chiropractic, acupuncture, homeopatia and others, are not able to treat cancer. This is the conclusion reached by researchers at Yale University, reports “24 channel”.
The researchers analyzed 34 million records of cancer patients, and identified 280 patients who in 2004 was diagnosed with cancer of the breast, prostate, lung, however, they refused chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery in favor of alternative means.
The results of these 280 people experts compared with 560-nd patients in the same year had the same diagnosis, but they chose to have the surgery and chemotherapy. Specialists monitor the dynamics of the results: as it turned out, after five years, 78.3% of patients that received conventional treatment, was alive.

Among those who chose alternative treatment within five years stayed alive by 54.7%. According to scientists, women with breast cancer who chose alternative medicine, died during this period five times as often. Twice as likely to die patients with cancer of the lungs.
At the same time, the researchers were unable to identify which type of alternative medicine treated patients, as analyzed in the cards, it was stated only “alternative therapy”.
