Export of Ukrainian agricultural products to European countries in January-June 2017 increased by 31.4%, or 663,4 million dollars, compared to the same period last year and amounted to 2,774 billion U.S. dollars. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of agrarian policy and food.
As reported, by results of the first half of 2017, the share of EU countries in the structure of exports of agricultural products from Ukraine amounted to 34.9%, and total foreign trade turnover between Ukraine and EU countries also increased by 24.1%, or $ 739, $ 3 million, compared to the same period in 2016, and amounted to 3 802,8 billion.
According to the report, among the leading importers were dakie country:
- The Netherlands with a share in total exports to the EU of 17.6%;
- Spain – 17%;
- Italy – 13,5%;
- Poland – 12,1%;
- France – 6.8 percent;
- Germany – 6,7%;
- UK – 3,8%;
- Portugal is 3.3%;
- Belgium – 3%;
- Hungary is 2.1%.
We will remind, at the end of 2016/2017 marketing year Ukraine has established a new absolute record for grain exports of 43.9 million tons.
