Poroshenko asked not to impose mandatory testing on English language

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko asking not to impose mandatory testing in English in 2018. A petition was registered on the official website of the President.

The authors of the petition said that in Ukrainian schools do not teach English language at a level to enable children to take EIT. “So cancel the obligation of the English language. We live in Ukraine. I understand that English is important, but first give a normal program,” reads the petition.

Now she’s scored 9 votes of the required 25 thousand. For the collection of signatures there 91 days.

We will remind, this year on UPE has registered more than 240 thousand people, almost 30 thousand less than last year: in the universities it is now possible to do with last year’s certificates. The English test was held every fourth entrant.
