Nominal wages in June 2017 increased in comparison with the corresponding period of 2016 37.9% and amounted to UAH 7360. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of social policy.
According to the report, the largest growth in wages in June of the current year to the corresponding period in 2016 was observed among workers of such enterprises:
- manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products – of 64.0% (12 of 136 thousand UAH);
- electronic manufacturing equipment – by 47.9% (7038 UAH)
- manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers and other vehicles – by 43.7% (7798 UAH)
- manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products – 39.7% (8802 UAH).
As noted in the Ministry of social policy, the trend of growth of wages of workers of budgetary sphere. So, in June of 2017, compared with Jun-2016 nominal salary of educators increased by 51,9% (7151 UAH), and the figures in the sphere of creativity, art and entertainment – 48.4% (6159 UAH).
“Wage growth is associated with an increase in the minimum wage, increasing the wage Fund of public sector employees, the legalization of informal employment and access of the “shadow” wage,” explained the trend in the Ministry.
We will remind, in Ukraine the average wage taking into account June and July of 2017 exceeded 7 thousand UAH, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman.
