After scandal with wiretaps in Poland was Russia?

In the ruling circles of the U.S. brewing scandal. Local advocate “change for the better” (a reference to the slogan of the Polish ruling party — approx. lane), President trump is faced with serious problems: his son admitted that he had met with close to the Kremlin as a lawyer, hoping to discrediting Hillary Clinton information. Meanwhile, as journalists found out, the meeting took place shortly before the candidate-trump announced the compromising Clinton emails, and a couple of days before they are published.

From trump to Polish wiretaps

The conclusion is the same: if Donald trump has collaborated with Vladimir Putin to overtake his rival, the Americans will react to this fact negatively. In addition, it turns out that the Kremlin has a powerful instrument of pressure on him.

I don’t want to attack trump, because in this story I’m more interested in something else (although Hillary Clinton I don’t like, and I never supported). Being a Trustee Radoslaw Sikorski (Radosław Sikorski) and Jacek rostowski (Jacek Rostowski), I was not the first year engaged in the case of the Polish wiretaps. I attended many meetings, listened to the testimony of witnesses, examined all the documents on this subject available to the prosecution and the court, and I can definitely say that the story of the tramp, which Russia helped to collect material for the struggle with his rival, very similar to Polish scandal. Unfortunately, I have no way to tell about all the evidence in this case because the Prosecutor’s office for some strange reason refuses to remove their secrecy. I can give only the following set of facts.

A group of waiters was involved in intelligence operations, making the record in Warsaw restaurants. The purpose of the operation, invented, apparently, in the immediate vicinity of Mariusz Kaminski (Mariusz Kamiński) (head of the Central anti-corruption Bureau 2006-2009) was to get from the conversations of business information that will help to fight corruption. Some members of this group made contact with businessman Valenti Marek (Marek Falenta) (or he made contact with them) and expanded its activities, starting to record the conversations of politicians associated with the ruling party. Although the opposition of the “Law and Justice” (PiS) went to the same restaurants, their conversations in entries do not appear. For example, there are no interviews with the participation of Andrzej Seremet (Andrzeja Seremeta) — the General Prosecutor, appointed by President Lech Kaczynski (Lech Kaczyński).

The defendants in the case

The Central anti-corruption Bureau officially were not related to this activity, but sometimes it was applied for obtained in its course information. Contact with Marek Valenti supported Kaminski closest associates, including senior Agency staff from Wroclaw Bozek Ernest (Ernest Bożek). This relationship continued after kamiński resigned as head of the Bureau. They were so secret that the new Manager about talking Falenty not reported. Bozek himself, after he was fired from the Bureau, became a member of the Commission on the intelligence… of the party “law and Justice”.

At the same time Valente was actively involved in business with the Russians. Press reports suggest that he owed them $ 26 million. Creditor were associated with Putin “Kuzbasskaya Toplivnaya company”. In early June 2014, the Russians demanded Plenty to pay the debt. 13 Jun 2014 in the weekly Wprost appeared the first publication with the transcripts, made-to-order businessman. The post of chief editor of the journal then took Sylvester Latkovskis (Sylwester Latkowski), who was convicted of extortion committed with the participation of former security officers for the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR Andrei Gromyko. He, while he was being sought by the Prosecutor, was hiding in Russia (a few days ago it has withdrawn a lawsuit filed against me because I announced this fact). Worked closely with Valenti also associated with the environment of Mariusz Kaminski Peter Nestor (Piotr Nisztor), which now operates in Gazeta Polska.

Now the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported that the Deputy defense Minister Kownacki Bartosz (Bartosz Kownacki) since 2012, maintained close contact with the people, the internal security Agency accused of spying in favor of Russia. For a week now we are waiting for a serious comment about the information that appeared in the book Pentek Tomasz (Tomasz between gmina piątek) about the relations of the defense Ministry of Makarevicha Anthony (Antoni Macierewicz) with people who cooperated with Russian special services. The Ministry of defence still has not provided its view on these contacts.

Who benefited from the scandal with wiretapping?

Based on the above facts it’s not hard to imagine a scenario reminiscent of American events. The main thing that reinforces my suspicion it’s the principle “is fecit cui prodest” — “did the one who benefits.” From wiretapping scandal with won the party “law and Justice”, as well as Russia, which managed to sow discord between Poland and the EU.

In addition, in my legal career I have not had the opportunity to meet with such processes as the case of Marek Falenty. In his actions, for which the court of first instance sentenced him to 2.5 years of imprisonment, there is no apparent motive. I also have not seen cases in which the prosecution put so much effort to make a criminal out of jail (she offered to give him a suspended sentence).

The same applies to journalists of the magazine Wprost: the case of the illegal proliferation of wiretaps was going to close. The Prosecutor’s office has terminated the proceedings due to low degree of public danger of their deeds (!). The court overturned this decision after I, representing Sikorsky and Rostov, appealed against it, but he continues to delay the process. This is the only way to protect the journalists, because even if the case will be discontinued, I can on behalf of the victims to submit to the court the subsidiary act charges. And finally, I’ve never heard of that owed to the Russian company a huge amount, but continued as Valente, to lead a quiet life.

All these circumstances enable me to put forward the following thesis: it is very likely that the Polish wiretapping scandal with was the first stage of the Russian campaign in the Western States, which used a combination of espionage, economic and political methods, and which was intended to guide political developments favorable to the Kremlin’s direction. The fact that the result was the coming to power of anti-Russian at first glance, the party has not the slightest importance. Us Republicans, too, have always been anti-Russian force. So arranged, “disguise”: she needs to cover his tracks.
