NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will arrive in Ukraine on two-day visit, during which he will meet with President Petro Poroshenko and take part in the meeting of the Commission NATO-Ukraine.
A meeting of the Commission chaired by Poroshenko will be held on 10 July, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Charter on a distinctive partnership between Ukraine and NATO.
In addition, during the visit of Jens Stoltenberg will give a speech in the Verkhovna Rada, will meet with the speaker and leaders of parliamentary factions. NATO Secretary General will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman, and open the new building of the NATO mission in Ukraine.
Note that on the day of arrival, Jens Stoltenberg in Ukraine will come into force a law restoring Ukraine’s course for NATO membership.
We also recall that today, July 9, to Ukraine there will arrive the Secretary General of the UN’s antónio Guterres and US Secretary of state Rex Tillerson.
