The North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) gave the pyrotechnic units of the State service of Ukraine for emergency situations equipment for mine to 64 thousand euros. About it reported in a press-service gschs.
Pyrotechnics got personal armor, modern metal detectors to search for explosive devices and means of ensuring the conduct of demining.
NATO offered assistance to Ukraine in the framework of project to support humanitarian mine action.
It is also reported that scientists of Ukraine and Norway with the support of NATO are developing ZD-mine detector – the device in any soil will be able to determine the location of an explosive subject and displayed his picture in three dimensions.
