There is no reason to talk about a failure of EIT in the Ukrainian language and literature this year, said today, on 27 June, during a briefing Minister of education and science, Liliya Hrynevych.
“I want to publicly argue that testing on the Ukrainian language it was a failure – there is no reason to say so. On the contrary, we can say that the results are equal”, – said Grinevich.
The Minister noted that, speaking of “disastrous” testing on the Ukrainian language and literature this year, often refer to the fact that last year there were more children who received 200 points in the Ukrainian language and literature, and this year these children are only five.
“This is a very relative measure, which means only that those who wrote better than anyone this year, set a higher bar than last year”, – explained the Minister.
Hrynevych also said that this year more children have crossed the threshold passed-not passed the tests in the Ukrainian language.
Recall that only five of EIT this year received the maximum number of points in the test in Ukrainian language and literature. In the past year received the 200 points was 66.
