The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that in July at the summit EU-Ukraine ratification of the Association Agreement with the European Union to be completed. He stated this in an interview broadcast on TV channel “Ukraine”.
The President called a complete success the process of ratification of Association with the EU.
“We have absolute success in ratification of the Association Agreement. In July, the ratification procedure is already completed – do not have any political solutions. And at the summit Ukraine-EU which will take place in July, we will celebrate the completion of the ratification”, – said Poroshenko.
He added that from 1 September it is an extremely important strategic agreement with Ukraine will enter into force.
As reported, on 13 June the Ministry of justice of the Netherlands approved a law on ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, and the next day the law was published in the official Gazette of the Netherlands.
