The presidents of Ukraine and the United States during a meeting in the White house discussed in detail the steps that will be taken ahead of the visit of Donald trump to Europe for the G20 summit. This was at the briefing at the White house after meeting with U.S. President Donald trump said the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“Took a full, very detailed meeting with the President of the United States Donald trump. We received strong support from the United States, and support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of our country. And strong support for the continuation of reforms in Ukraine. It is very important that today, on this day, which marks exactly three years, because on June 20 immediately after the election of President, I announced a ceasefire and presented a peace plan which became the basis of the Minsk agreements… it Was emphasized that the USA support and remain loyal to the Minsk agreements” – said Poroshenko.
The President believes that we need to continue to demand from Russia full implementation of the Minsk agreements.
“Moreover, the security package, which is that needs to be ceased fire, allocated by the Russian artillery, tanks, multiple rocket launchers, to ensure free access of the OSCE SMM to the entire territory, including the border. And we discussed the steps that will now be made prior to the visit of the President of trump in Europe”, – said Poroshenko.
