District court of Odessa adopted the decision on the special confiscation of the integral property complex of the Odessa refinery (refinery). This was announced by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko.
“Under the deal with the consequence of the district court of Odessa sentenced on special confiscation CEC Odessa refinery as a weapon of crime a criminal organization [Sergei] Kurchenko. The plant became the property of the state represented by the Cabinet of Ministers”, – Lutsenko wrote on his page in Facebook.
The attorney General noted that he expects a fast and transparent auction for the re-privatization of the OPP.
We will remind, earlier Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman instructed the state property Fund (SPF) of Ukraine and the Ministry of justice of Ukraine to take exhaustive measures for the protection of property of PJSC “Odessa port plant”.
In turn, the Minister of justice Pavel Petrenko suggested that the government request the SPF and AES materials in support of litigation with Ostchem and handed them to the Prosecutor General and National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
