In Ukraine can enter the Turkish low-cost carrier

Turkish budget carrier Pegasus Airlines has applied to the State aviation administration for registration as a Ukrainian airline. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of infrastructure Victor Dougan, reports “Gromadske”.

While Choate date and future directions of flights of the airline is unknown.

Pegasus could become the second airline in the Ukrainian market after Ryanair, which plans in the fall to carry out flights from Kiev and Lviv.

There are also talks about entering the Ukrainian market with the British low-cost airline EasyJet.

Pegasus airlines began operations in Ukraine in 2010. Today, the airline operates regular flights from Istanbul to Kharkiv, Lviv and Zaporizhia, as well as from Ankara to Kiev and Odessa. In may it became known that Pegasus will double the number of flights Kiev-Ankara.
