Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Vice Chancellor and Minister of foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Sigmar Gabriel. “They discussed topical issues in Russian-German relations”, – the press-service of the Kremlin.
Also in the Kremlin said that the German foreign Minister arrived in Russia to participate in St. Petersburg international economic forum.
In turn, the Russian journalist Dmitry Smirnov on his Twitter page has quoted the words of foreign Minister of Germany Gabriel about the meeting with Putin: “the Important negotiations. An open exchange of views on Syria and Ukraine.”
