Dnipropetrovsk region is the leader among regions by the volume of revenues of local budgets

The largest volume of revenues of local budgets per capita in the region for 2016, excluding Kyiv, recorded in Dnipropetrovsk (5.2 thousand UAH) and Kyiv regions (4,8 thousand UAH). These data of monitoring of socio-economic development of the regions, prepared by the Ministry in may 2017, according to “Ukrainian news”.

Dnipropetrovsk is also the leader among regions according to indicators disposable income per capita in 2016. In Dnipropetrovsk region the figure is – 43458,3 UAH, the second – Zaporizhia oblast (42117,8 UAH), the third – in Kyiv (UAH 39177,9, excluding Kyiv).

At the end of last year, the highest amount of capital spending from local budgets per one inhabitant of the region (excluding Moscow), recorded in Dnipropetrovsk (1,6 thousand UAH), Kharkov (1,4 thousand UAH), and also in Poltava and Odessa regions (1, 3 thousand UAH).

Also, the Dnipropetrovsk oblast is ahead of other regions of Ukraine on indicators of export of goods per capita – 1807,1 dollar. In second place – the Nikolaev area (1442,4 dollar), the third Zaporozhye (1311,1 dollars).

As for the level of employment in the regions, in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions it is more than 59%, in Kiev and Nikolaev is 57.8%.

As previously stated, the Chairman of Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration Valentyn Reznichenko, the growth of regional socio-economic indicators is one of the real results of the decentralization process in the country.

“We are implementing the initiatives of President Petro Poroshenko on decentralization processes in the state, showing in specific cases the extent of the growth opportunities for local communities,” said Valentin Reznichenko.
