Diplomat, expert on international Affairs of the Fund “Maidan foreign Affairs” Oleg Belokolos believes that Russia actively pulls US into the Syrian conflict, according to “Obozrevatel”.
“Moscow is even willing to offer Washington some areas in the South of Syria bordering Jordan and Israel. In Moscow understand that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad cannot control them. From the point of view of diplomacy that Russia is, shall we say, bad,” – said the expert on international relations.
According to him, the Kremlin wants to show that between the US and Russia in Syria, there are some elements of cooperation.
