The Chairman of the State migration service, Maxim Sokoluk reported that the Turkish authorities have officially published the decision on amendments to the procedure for mutual travel and recognition in the internal Ukrainian passport, ID card as a travel document for the travel of citizens of Ukraine in Turkey.

“The Turkish authorities on 20 may was officially published by decision 2017/10324 on amendments to the procedure for mutual travel, and the recognition of a new (domestic) of Ukrainian passport (ID card) as a travel document for the travel of citizens of Ukraine to Turkey”, – said Sokolyk.
The publication of the decision means that Ukrainians will soon be able to travel to Turkey ID-card without a passport, notes, Sokoluk.
According to the Chairman of GMR, the Ukrainians have issued more than 550 000 new ID cards. Daily new internal passport 5-6 thousand citizens of Ukraine.
We will remind, Ukraine and Turkey in March signed an agreement on amendments to the Agreement on conditions of mutual trips of citizens, which will allow citizens to travel on ID cards without passports.
