Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel are well informed about the Ukrainian realities, but also interested in the situation with the security and humanitarian situation in the Donbass, said the first Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s representative to the Humanities subgroup of the Trilateral contact group (TAG) Irina Gerashchenko.
“Impressed by Chancellor Merkel. Every time – very impressed. She is very well versed in Ukrainian realities, sincerely interested in politics security and humanitarian situation in Donbas, the progress of reforms, the work of the Parliament. Well, in the EU there is a leader,” wrote Gerashchenko in his Facebook page on Saturday evening.
