Employee of the National anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) together with his accomplice demanded that the owner of the brand and chain stores 300 thousand US dollars for the termination concerning it criminal prosecution and closure of criminal proceedings. This was reported by press Secretary of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Larisa Sargan.
“In the future, at the request of businesswoman in one of Kiev restaurants militiaman agreed to reduce by half the amount of illegal benefit. Upon receipt of this sum – 150 thousand dollars, – the employee of NABOO and his accomplice were today detained by the staff of the Sumy Prosecutor’s office and SBU”, – reported Sargan.
We will remind, the NEB launched an investigation due to a drunken accident involving the employee’s Bureau.
