The speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Lithuania Viktoras Pranckietis during a meeting with the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak assured further support of the Lithuanian side of the European choice of the Ukrainian people and condemnation of the actions of the Russian Federation in the East of Ukraine.
“We will continue to support the Ukrainian people’s European choice and ensuring democratic processes that are taking place in your community. Lithuania never recognized the annexation of the Crimea and condemns Russia’s actions in the East of Ukraine, – quotes V. The Minister of defense of Ukraine during the meeting spoke about the latest events that are happening in the East of the country, and provided evidence of the presence of Russian troops in the Donbas.
