Chinese surgeons have successfully separated conjoined twins

One of the children’s hospitals of Shanghai surgeons have performed the operation to separate two Siamese twin girls conjoined at the abdomen. Children born 9 February 2017, their mother was 34 weeks pregnant. Before the operation they were in the ICU.

The twins were conjoined by the stomach and liver. The separating operation lasted a total of two hours (including an hour for stitching wounds).

Forecast for the future of girls favorable.

Earlier it was reported that in the East Indian state of Gujarat were born Siamese twins with one head and one person for two, while each child had their own heart, hands and feet.
