The reconstruction of the international highway Kyiv – Kovel – Warsaw in the area from the capital to the checkpoint “Yagodin” at the Ukrainian-Polish border will be carried out by the European investment Bank (EIB) and grants of the European Union. This was reported by the press service of “Ukravtodor”, transfers “112 Ukraine”.
Now under discussion is the possibility of reconstructing the plot and bring it to the technical category with four lanes. The project is expected to refinansiruet halfway through the EIB and the grant of EU funds.
In “Ukravtodor” I hope that after granting Ukraine visa-free regime with the EU considerably aktiviziruyutsya car travel, among other things, with Poland, Hungary and Romania.

The stretch of road from Kovel to the checkpoint “Yagodin” have high intensity of movement, and the checkpoint “Yagodin”, the biggest crossing point, through which more than 1.5 million cars per year, 300 thousand of them – the trucks.
The reconstruction of the road will be carried out according to European standards of safety and convenience of road users, said the “Ukravtodor”.
